A Olivia Tremor Control was an Athens, Georgia indie rock band in the mid- to late 1990s and, along with The Apples in Stereo and Neutral Milk Hotel, was one of the ternary original Elephant Six projects. A band was founded per remnants of the class action Synthetic Flying Machine (Jeff Mangum, Bill Doss, and Will Cullen Hart) in 1994 and was disbanded in 1999.

A band's distinct healthy occurs as mixture of Doss' popular leanings, & Hart's experimental tendencies. This chemistry is evident inside their albums given that a select few tracks come Two-Three microscopic popular songs, when others come healthy collages ranging around length from either either Deuce seconds to Ten proceedings, & differing in content from vibrant horns to touching silence. A band was influenced per odd quality inherent within dreams and asked their auditor to send within tapes describing their have, extract of which may be heard in the final track of Black Foliage particularly.
